Emily Howald Sefton moved to the Twin Cities after a five-year stint in Chicago, where she perfected the art of creating order amid chaos (also known as magazine deadlines). Upon her arrival in Minneapolis, Emily quickly said "I Do" to the role of Weddings editor and after a few years of veils and venues, Emily added wallpaper and wainscoting to her scope by becoming the Deputy Editor of Home & Design. Prior to earning a paycheck, Emily earned her master's degree from Northwestern University and her B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. When she’s not busy exploring the nearest wedding venue or testing the newest chaise lounge, Emily spends time with her husband, daughter, son, and mini-labradoodle. You might catch her raving about the Green Bay Packers (Note: She is not, nor will she ever be, a Vikings fan) or teetering in uncomfortably high heels.
